Story-1
A girl from 7th standard from a village called Noovli in Hubli, who studied in a Government school, attended my session and then wrote a letter to the Gramapanchayat PDO (Panchayat Development Officer), asking him to grant money to build a toilet in her house. She also convinced her parents, continuously followed up with the Panchayat, and finally got the amount sanctioned, after which a toilet was constructed in her house. She then shared this story in my session and 60 more girls got motivated and approached the PDO and their parents to build toilets in their homes.
Story-2
My school has no functional toilet facilities for students. The toilet we use in school, blocked by sanitary pads and garbage, and the floor is all urinated. The school has clean washrooms for teachers. The Cleaning staff also came once a month. We have to go to our house to pee and pad change during menstruation.

Story-3
We engaged 30 students and 5 volunteers in one rural area school to present the data about unhygienic and bad infrastructure and vandalized public toilets to the school authorities. When that did not work, they reported the problem to makkala Gram Sabha (Children’s Gram Sabha) and followed up. After a few months of this (almost at the end of the school year), the school finally got a new toilet facility.
Story-4
The story is about a girl named Lavanya, A young girl discovered Sanitation problem in her Village, especially open defecation how that incident has motivated Lavanya to come up with Engaging Local Government to Solve sanitation issues in her village Now, she Ambassador for Ruralsanitation program. Then, it explained the waste degradation time for different types of wastes through Trash Talk, garbage fact this has helped the participants to realize the seriousness of the problem and the need for action for solving the issue. The participants raised some queries regarding the beliefs and myths about single-use plastic , a shared personal story about switched to eco-friendly products like bamboo brush, comb, carrying own cloth bag to reduce plastic waste problem
