Stand for Sanitation and Hygiene Education for All

63 million
adolescent girls in India lack access to
adequate toilets and sanitation
71% girls
are unaware of menstruation
until their first period
23 million
girls drop out of school due to
lack of adequate menstrual hygiene
management spaces
And we're here to change these numbers
We approach the issue with holistic solutions

ACCESS TO SANITATION
Schools lack basic toilet and handwashing infrastructure.
We ensure that the government funds are adequately allocated towards improving school sanitation.
HEALTH AND HYGIENE AWARENESS
Inappropriate disposal of sanitary waste, unkempt toilets and absence of toilets cause several health problems.
We educate schools and communities in the importance of a hygienic environment.
BEHAVIOURAL CHANGE
We conduct workshops to influence school children, to help them realize the consequences of solid waste issues and raise the awareness on waste management practices
